The GBI shop floor has evolved from late 60's technology to the most modern, high speed, machining and turning centers. Welders are AWS D1.1 certified to assure that the welding processes meet the rigid standards you expect. Their fully documented quality assurance system has been audited by most of their major customers and has been found to meet all of their requirements. The QA personnel are certified in various non-destructive inspection techniques. ISO compliance is their goal in 2004. All cylinders at GBI are hydraulically tested on test stands monitored to ISO 17/14 cleanliness. A modern, state-of-the-art paint system completes the process for protection and cosmetic perfection.

Located in Great Bend, KS, GBI is perfectly situated for shipping anywhere in the USA or abroad. Four major US and State highways intersect in Great Bend and all major freight carriers are available. 1 - 2 day delivery in the Midwest is standard, with 2 - 4 day delivery elsewhere in the US.

PRIMARY PRODUCTS: Custom designed hydraulic cylinders for various applications from construction equipment to oil field machinery. Specializes in single-stage cylinders under 120" stroke and 9" bore size. Also manufactures multi-stage cylinders under 9" bore size.

MANUFACTURING PHILOSOPHY: The facility is designed to maximize cellular and flow manufacturing in a small lot environment. Product flows from the material warehouse to assembly, test and paint. Component parts are manufactured in cells and delivered to assembly as required.
